"The
Thrill is Back ...Again"
The
Thriller started it all back in 1975 with the slogan
"The Thrill is Back", sparking rebirth to the longboard
scene. Surfboards got extremely short in the early
70's and it wasn't cool to ride longboards.
Moving from Hawaii back to California, the waves felt
really small and hard for me to have fun in. Remembering
my longboarding roots, (having fun is what it's all
about) I designed the Thriller to ride small to double
overhead surf.
Its an all around board with thinned out step deck
nose to lighten up the front end for whip turns and
cutbacks, down rails for speed, as well as a concave
nose for riding high and fast down the line. The squared
off nose creates a straighter outline to the nose,
allowing the board to drive faster when standing on
the lip. This board has it all!
